INTOLERANCEPTION:- INTOLERANCE OF INTOLERANCE

So yesterday i was talking to my sister and we started talking about intolerance.

She suggested that i should write my thoughts about it and i said why not!

I started thinking about how intolerant we have become or have we?

I feel we have become intolerant of things which don't matter much which is okay. Just because someone else has bigger problems that does not invalidate your's and one should be able to voice their opinions.

BUT the thing is in all this we are actually becoming more tolerant.

MORE tolerant of corruption, inequality, distinction on the basis of caste, creed and religion.Which is not exactly a good thing we as members of this society are so focused on the little things that we are forgetting about more important issues.

I am not saying that we don't think about it or feel bad about it but in the end we give up and say that's how it is,it has been and it'll be and what can i do no one is going to listen to me and think that i am the only one who feels like this and i am alone

BUT ARE WE REALLY???

NO,I don't think so.i think we are trying to bring change where it's easy but not where it is needed and matters...

We are becoming intolerant of people not respecting others personal space but not of misogyny,we are intolerant of people reading our texts but not of LGBTQ group not being allowed to live a normal life,we are intolerant of someone eating a cow but not of someone honour killing their own child.

so yeah i am intolerant of our intolerance of things which are not as important

and feel free to be intolerant of my intolerance of intolerance ;)

First post..

So I thought a lot about what my first post should be maybe about inequality or politics or maybe even Bollywood's unrealistic portrayal of life and laws of physics.

But then i thought maybe my first post on my first blog should be about us and what is expected of us.

Isn't it weird that we tell others to love themselves but don't actually want them to like if someone actually likes their-self we call them snobby or shallow or ignorant.

But WHY??

why do we as society want to appear supportive but don't really wanna support?

and is it really mean?

i don't really know as i am both of them the person who is being told to love their-self and as the person who is telling others to love themselves but don't want them to as it would lower my confidence (since i have not accepted myself totally either)

because we are not expected to actually accept a human being(ourself or others) actually content.we talk about a Utopian society but do we really want to live there?

i don't think so as a specie who wants things to get better but doesn't want anything to change

we can agree on one thing that our future is doomed...OR MAYBE NOT who knows
